LifeFone offers more in the way of monitoring services than most other medical alert system providers. It has US-based friendly support, available 24/7 at the push of an emergency button from either the pendant or the wristband. All equipment is UL certified. The support staff will have access to your emergency care instructions and are fully prepared to help in case of a medical emergency, know what to look out for and who to call. A unique feature is a card which you or your loved one can carry in your wallet, so that if something happens bystanders or medical professionals can get in touch with LifeFone to access this information.
LifeFone offers optional caregiver tools, such as daily check-in services, activity assurance, medication reminders and a location service that allows you to let family or friends track your location on a map for added safety. These tools help you retain peace of mind and help you or your loved ones to live independently and safely longer.
If you opt for the all-in-one home solution, you will also be notified in the case of fire/smoke or carbon monoxide detection. You can self-test the base and monitor yourself, but if you do not use it or test it for a month, it will be tested automatically.
LifeFone offers at-home and on-the-go solutions. The landline solution is the safest and most reliable choice, however LifeFone also has cellular options if you do not have a landline at home.
The at-home landline solution has a range of 1,300 feet, and a 32-hour battery life in the case of a power cut. It comes with a waterproof wristband or pendant that’s lightweight and can be worn to bed, and you’ll have unlimited emergency notifications and spouse monitoring at zero extra charge. You can even use the pendant or wristband to answer the phone. You can also choose to add a fall detection feature to your system for a small monthly charge.
All systems allow for daily check-in calls, activity assurance to check-in using the base unit as much as you want, and help with relocating your solution. The on-the-go mobile solution will locate you away from home in the case of an emergency or a fall.
Additional accessories can be bought for one time fees, including wearable help buttons, and 2 types of lock box to allow authorized personnel entry to your home in the case of emergencies.
The LifeFone app lets you use your own smartphone as a medical alert system, as well as keep your family in the loop and connected to you while at home or on-the-go.
